With God all things are Possible....

Bishop OLU LAWRENCE then left Lagos Area of Nigeria to the Niger Delta Area of the country.  After series of in service Bible training at the Branch of Deeper Christian Life Ministry he became the Sunday school teacher, thereafter Sunday school co-ordinator, a position he hold for several years along side with the pastoral care unit director (or pastor)) a unit directly incharge of the home fellowship or home caring fellowship, over seeing the needy and the less privilege members of the church.


In Sept. 1983, Bishop OLU LAWRENCE established Deeper Life Bible Study location at Effuru via Warri, Delta State of Nigeria along side with the assignment of co-ordinating the Sunday school and pastoral are unit of the church at Warri.

In 1984, Bishop was called into a higher role in the Deeper life Bible Church at the State Head Quarters which is Benin City, now Edo State Nigeria.  As the State wide co-ordinator.  His duties are:

 

1.     To conduct the weekly Home caring fellowship Revival lessons to the entire home, caring fellowship leaders is the then Bendel State Now Edo, Delta State.

 

2.     To solve any problem arising from any branch o0f the Deeper life Bible Church in the state as reported by the Home fellowship leaders of the particular Church.

3.     To visit each of the regional headquarter for example Sapele Local Government, which was Okpe Local government then.  While on a visit he must hold talks with the leaders and listen to various problems, and questions and provide answers where he can.

Same time Bishop was also the zonal leader of the main church.  As a

Zonal leader, he must co ordinate all the home caring fellowship of the zone, and report to the main church office.

 

 

GOD is GOOD

1984 Bishop Olu Lawrence was sent on a mission to several church locations in the state, including Oghara, Okpara waterside, Okpara Inland, Eku, Abraka, Oviorie and the environs. One of those missions was at Ororokpe where he and his team was arrested and locked up by the police for holding evangelistic meetings. The case was dismissed by the local court judge.

          December 1984, Bishop Olu Lawrence resumes the leadership of Deeper Life Bible Church Sapele, pasturing 150 Christians upon resumption, Between 1984 and 1986 July the church exploded to 1,300 souls worshiping God every Sunday and the mid  week service.

 
If God be for Us...Who can be against Us?

In Nov. 1987, Bishop Olu Lawrence receives the direct leading of the Holy Spirit to move on to a new ground of ministry. In Jan. 1988 the Bishop lay the sickle down at Deeper Life Bible Church and in Feb. 26, 1988 Bethel World Outreach Ministry was established.

 

          Bethel World outreach Ministry is a church with a mandate to take the Gospel to nations of the world. Apart from the ambition of the Bishop founder, God has giving the ministry a clear-cut vision, at home and overseas.

          These visions are running side by side, while we are preaching the gospel at home through our regular Sunday services, Tuesday bible studies and every Thursday hour of faith and power. We did not play with the ministry of prayer and fasting.
